Monetic x Rhino.fi: powering instant bankless payments across borders
Monetic is building the infrastructure for a new kind of merchant, one that operates entirely without banks and uses stablecoins to settle payments instantly across borders.
Many merchants today still rely on legacy payment rails that can take days to finalize a transfer and charge high fees, especially for cross-border transactions. Monetic is changing that. They enable payments that move globally in seconds, at a fraction of the cost.
Monetic operates by handling fiat operations and card funding natively on Base, while Binance Chain supports on-chain settlement and liquidity routing for select global payment paths. This setup allows them to combine the speed of on-chain settlement with the reach of traditional finance, but bridging between the two networks was a major challenge. To deliver truly global payments, Monetic needed a unified, low-cost way to move funds between Base and Binance Chain.
With Rhino.fi’s Bridge API, Monetic now moves USDC from Base to USDT on Binance Chain in seconds. The conversion and bridging process is fully automated, without manual steps, allowing merchants to settle instantly and reliably across chains.
The demo below shows this flow in action: a user deposits $1 with a card, funds are received on Base, and within seconds the balance is bridged directly to Binance. What used to take several days and costly intermediaries now happens almost instantly and at near-zero cost.

What makes this setup unique is that Rhino.fi operates its own solver network with deep liquidity in both USDC and USDT. Thanks to our strategic relationship with Tether, we can internally manage slippage and execute near zero-cost swaps, ensuring Monetic’s merchants get fast and efficient settlements every time.
This integration brings Monetic closer to its mission of powering fast, low-cost global transactions, and shows how Rhino.fi’s infrastructure helps make that possible.
