About the role

Rhino.fi is hiring a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to drive the next phase of our product evolution at a pivotal inflection point for the business.
Following a strong 2024 scaling of our direct-to-consumer offering, we have expanded into the B2B market and are already seeing early signs of product-market fit, backed by strong month-on-month growth and positive customer traction. We’ve transformed our tech stack and operating model to support greater speed and scalability, building on extensive discovery and market insight to move fast. With strong foundations in place, the CPO will be able to deliver immediate impact and lead the next phase of growth.
This will be a key leadership role on an evolving executive team, partnering with the CEO and existing leadership team to accelerate Rhino.fi ’s momentum, maintain our competitive edge, and enable a high-performing product team.  It’s an exceptional opportunity to join a company demonstrating clear product-market fit in a new market and well-positioned to scale rapidly.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Own and champion the product vision at the executive level, aligning product strategy closely with business goals and market opportunities.

  • Drive company-wide strategic initiatives through clear objectives and measurable outcomes (OKRs).

  • Leading the company alongside the leadership team, serving as a key decision-maker in shaping the future product direction of rhino.fi.

Product Strategy, Vision & Roadmap

  • Define and communicate a compelling, long-term B2B product vision that integrates customer insights, industry trends, and technological advancements.

  • Set and maintain clear priorities across product initiatives balancing innovation, user needs, and scalability.

  • Drive product-market fit and continued expansion across the B2B market.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-impact product features and platform capabilities that drive measurable customer value and business success.

  • Embed robust practices around goal-setting, roadmap prioritisation, and operational excellence, leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making.

  • Foster a culture of delivery excellence across the product team.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor and lead a high-performing product team, fostering professional growth, accountability and a collaborative environment.

  • Embed a culture of innovation, feedback, and continuous improvement across product and cross-functional teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and maintain effective collaboration across all levels and functions, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.

  • Align stakeholders on product objectives, execution timelines, and deliverables across all company functions.

Market Understanding & Customer Focus

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the DeFi market, customer pain points, and opportunities through direct customer engagement, research, and competitive analysis.

  • Use market insights and user research to proactively shape strategic decisions and ensure products remain highly competitive.

AI-Enhanced Productivity

  • Champion the adoption and optimisation of generative AI and automation tools, significantly enhancing personal and team productivity.

  • Lead the establishment of Rhino.fi ’s as an industry benchmark for AI-driven product and operational excellence.

Community & Thought Leadership

  • Represent Rhino.fi in external forums, enhancing our reputation through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and published content.

  • Develop and sustain a strong network within the DeFi and broader blockchain community.

Requirements

  • Significant experience (3+ years) as a Head of Product or equivalent product leadership role within Fintech, Crypto or broader web3 sector, with experience leading B2B products.

  • Deep knowledge of Stablecoins, Payments, DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and web3 ecosystems.

  • Proven track record in driving product vision from pre-product-market fit through scaling stages in a startup environment.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, with proven ability to mentor and develop strong product teams.

  • Proficiency with data-driven decision-making, agile methodologies, user research, and product discovery techniques.

  • Experienced in leveraging generative AI and automation tools to enhance product team productivity and operational efficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially within remote-first environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work and lead in remote-first settings, complemented by strong interpersonal skills essential for our quarterly global meetups.
