About the role
As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our DeFi bridge product. You will lead a team of 2 designers, collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences. Your deep understanding of design principles, combined with your passion for DeFi, will be instrumental in driving product success.
Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the design process for our DeFi product, from initial concept to launch and beyond.
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with product management to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Team Management: Oversee a team of 2 designers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Innovation: Design and lead the UX/UI strategy for a groundbreaking mobile app and/or browser extension, focusing on innovative solutions and chain abstraction.
- Design System: Lead and enhance our design system, ensuring consistency across the product.
- User-Centric Design: In collaboration with the product team, conduct thorough user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Translate insights into innovative design solutions.
- Design Execution: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, marketing) to ensure successful product delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and usability testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful product launches.
Deep understanding of design principles, UX/UI best practices, and design thinking methodologies.
Proven experience managing and mentoring a design team.
Expert proficiency in Figma
Strong understanding of DeFi concepts and the crypto ecosystem.
Experience in developing web and mobile app.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, intuitive designs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
Experience with design system tools like Zeplin is a plus.
