As Head of Product, you will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing rhino.fi’s product vision. You will manage a team of two designers aRhino.fi is an innovative B2C and B2B DeFi platform rapidly expanding to drive global adoption of decentralised finance. We seamlessly bridge assets across blockchains, creating a user-centric, product-led, intuitive, and engaging experience. We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Product who can lead our product strategy, inspire innovation, and position Rhino.fi at the forefront of the DeFi revolution.

About the Role
As Head of Product at Rhino.fi, you will strategically shape our product vision, driving innovation and scalability. Operating at the leadership level, you will mentor and develop a dynamic product team, collaborating directly with the executive team to ensure Rhino.fi remains competitive and customer-focused in the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape.
We are a remote-first company, requiring excellent remote collaboration and communication skills. To enhance our team culture and cohesion, we host quarterly in-person team meetups at exciting global locations, combining work and leisure activities such as skiing, surfing, and more.
Strategic Leadership
- Champion the product vision at the executive level and collaborate with the CEO to shape the company’s strategy
- Articulate and champion the product vision at the executive level, aligning product strategy closely with business goals and market opportunities. Drive company-wide strategic initiatives through clear objectives and measurable outcomes (OKRs).
Product Strategy & Vision
- Develop and communicate a compelling, long-term product vision that integrates customer insights, industry trends, and technological advancements.
- Ensure clear prioritisation of product initiatives balancing innovation, user needs, and scalability.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and lead a high-performing product team (3 Senior PMs and 2 Designers), fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment.
- Embed a culture of innovation, feedback, and continuous improvement across product and cross-functional teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and maintain effective collaboration across all levels and functions, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.
- Facilitate alignment on product objectives, execution timelines, and deliverables across all company functions.
Product Execution & Delivery
- Oversee and ensure the timely delivery of high-impact product features that drive measurable customer value and business success.
- Embed robust practices around goal-setting, roadmap prioritisation, and operational excellence, leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making.
Market Understanding & Customer Focus
- Deeply understand the DeFi market, customer pain points, and opportunities through direct customer engagement, research, and competitive analysis.
- Use market insights and user research to proactively shape strategic decisions and ensure products remain highly competitive.
AI-Enhanced Productivity
- Champion the adoption and optimisation of generative AI and automation tools, significantly enhancing personal and team productivity.
- Lead the establishment of Rhino.fi as an industry benchmark for AI-driven product and operational excellence.
Community & Thought Leadership
- Represent Rhino.fi in external forums, enhancing our reputation through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and published content.
- Develop and sustain a strong network within the DeFi and broader blockchain community.
Requirements:
- Significant experience (3+ years) as a Head of Product or equivalent product leadership role within the DeFi or web3 sector.
- Deep knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and web3 ecosystems.
- Proven track record in driving product vision from pre-product-market fit through scaling stages in a startup environment.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, with proven ability to mentor and develop strong product teams.
- Proficiency with data-driven decision-making, agile methodologies, user research, and product discovery techniques.
- Experienced in leveraging generative AI and automation tools to enhance product team productivity and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, especially within remote-first environments.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work and lead in remote-first settings, complemented by strong interpersonal skills essential for our quarterly global meetups.
