About the role
We are seeking our new Head of Finance. In this critical role, you will oversee all internal aspects of our financial operations and lay a strong foundation for our company’s growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage all internal aspects of our financial operations, ensuring smooth daily transactions, accurate reporting, and efficient accounting processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with company goals, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost optimization.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, liaising with external advisors to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Advise on corporate structuring strategies to maximize financial efficiency and minimize risks.
- Manage relationships with cryptocurrency exchanges and other financial institutions.
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement robust collateral management strategies for our cryptocurrency assets
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to optimize costs and profitability.
- Provide insightful and timely financial reporting to the leadership team to support informed decision-making.
- Manage payroll and pay invoices in both fiat and cryptocurrency currencies.
- Manage the funding and upkeep of bank accounts for various business needs.
- Scrutinize and pay bills and expenses originating from our Corporate entities (LLH and Bridge)
- Conduct comprehensive monthly reconciliations, creating detailed snapshots of all company funds across various locations (fiat and crypto).
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial accounting systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated experience in tax planning, transfer pricing, and corporate structuring within the cryptocurrency and blockchain space (CPA or relevant tax designation preferred).
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA highly preferred).
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, including external advisors.

- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
