About the role

As the Head of Business Development, you will be the architect of Rhino.fi‘s growth within the dynamic landscape of DeFi. You’ll be crafting and owning Rhino’s business development strategy and partnership roadmap. This includes building and developing relationships and strategic partnerships with crypto projects and chains to identify opportunities for growth,  expand product reach, and drive exponential monetization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own Rhino.fi’s business development strategy and partnership roadmap, with a focus on identifying new opportunities to expand our product reach, and drive incremental monetization.

  • Keep abreast of market trends and the competitive landscape in DeFi, and identify key business opportunities for Rhino.fi.

  • Cultivate an extensive industry network and maintain meaningful relationships in the industry to advance Rhino. fi’s strategic interests.

  • Develop strategic partnerships within the DeFi, crypto, and NFT ecosystems.

  • Own all elements of the partnership life cycle: scoping of opportunities, identifying potential partners, framing of value, structuring deals, negotiating agreements, and implementation and optimization

  • Formulate go-to-market strategies in collaboration with our marketing team that will translate into structuring highly valuable relationships, negotiating advantageous terms, and delivering results.

  • Grow a quality-filled pipeline of future business opportunities that build upon new and existing partnerships.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, Squads product development) to align business development strategies with company goals, prioritize opportunities, and ensure a smooth execution.

  • Representing Rhino.fi at industry events, conferences, and networking events.

  • Be a strong voice for the rhino.fi community to personify rhino.fi’s key virtue of ‘always hustling for our users’ and ‘integrity’

What You’ll Need:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Development, including 2 years as Business Development leader at a Crypto / DeFi project, or a hyper-growth FinTech environment.

    • Deep experience driving all aspects of the Business Development lifecycle, including strategy development, target evaluation, negotiation, and integration planning.

    • A deep understanding of the crypto market.

    • Established network in the crypto and DeFi industry.

    • Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and beyond.

    • Analytical and structured mind, with attention to detail and a ruthless sense of prioritization.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to engage proactively with business partners.

    • A track record of delivering exceptional and measurable results across multiple partnerships.
