About the role

As a key member of the Business Development team you will support company objectives by building external crypto project relationships to identify opportunities for rhino growth. You will also work with internal stakeholders to turn business partnerships into reality, whilst triaging inbound opportunities & managing external expectations. You will also play a key role in researching industry trends and identifying where rhino can fit in, as well as helping to grow rhino revenues and product offerings. You will be a vital link between rhino.fi and the wider crypto community.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify, triage, monitor, and peruse new business opportunities in the DeFi space in a structured way.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

  • Developing and execute business strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders to meet Squad and company goals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, Squads product development) to align business development strategies with company objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, Squads product development) to overcome hurdles, prioritise opportunities and turn ideas into reality in the most efficient way.

  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events.

  • Keeping abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in the DeFi sector to help inform product & business strategy

  • Be a strong voice for the rhino.fi community to personify rhino.fi’s key virtue of ‘always hustling for our users’ and ‘integrity’

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Biz Dev manager, including 2 years in a Crypto / DeFi project

  • A deep understanding of the crypto market.

  • An established network in the crypto and DeFi industry.

  • Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and beyond.

  • Analytical and structured mind, with attention to detail and a ruthless sense of prioritization.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to engage proactively with business partners.
