About the role
As Head of Product, you will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing rhino.fi‘s product vision. You will manage a team of two designers and 3 Product Managers leading their respective squads, and play a crucial role in driving user adoption and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the direction of a disruptive company in the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Champion the product vision at the executive level and collaborate with the CEO to shape the company’s strategy
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define and articulate a compelling product vision aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the DeFi space.
- Suggest and test pre-product-market-fit initiatives.
- Prioritise product features based on user research, market needs, and business objectives.
- Develop a long-term product roadmap aligned with company strategy and user needs.
- Set-up OKR for the company squads.
- Product Leadership & Management:
- Lead a team of 3 Product Managers and 2 designers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented product development environment.
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication between product, engineering, design, marketing, and other teams.
- Drive a culture of data-driven decision making and user-centric design.
- Product Operations & Execution:
- Define and implement product development processes to achieve consistent high-quality delivery.
- Manage product roadmaps and ensure timely execution of product initiatives.
- Analyse product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and prioritize A/B testing.
- Collaborate with the leaders of the engineering team to understand technical feasibility and dependencies.
- Community & Ecosystem:
- Stay up-to-date on evolving DeFi trends and regulations.
- Represent Rhino.fi at industry events and conferences.
Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of success.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the product organization.
- Extensive experience in the DeFi space, with a deep understanding of DeFi protocols.
- Solid understanding of web3 technologies like blockchains and smart contracts.
- Experience in pre-product-market-fit phases and ability to design and execute initiatives to validate product assumptions.
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Data-driven approach to product development with experience in A/B testing and user research.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team of product managers and designers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and SCRUM framework.
- Proficiency in user research methods (interviews, surveys, user testing).
